Performers
A magical and exhilarating performance full of Russian Soul, Gypsy Passion and Tango fire, operatic melodrama and classical virtuosity plus some hot club and hillbilly mayhem!
Expect a unique, humorous and uplifting take by the wonderful Mazaika Duo on East European Folk and Gypsy, Classical, Opera, Tango, Jazz, Latin, Italian, French Chanson, Gypsy Swing, Klezmer, Pop, Evergreens plus evocative original material.
Mazaika will start with violin showstoppers such as Krieslers Tambourin chinois, Prealudium and allegro and Sarasate Zigeunerweisen and Astor Piazolla Libertango and Oblivion. Then move round the world and through the ages including 70's pop and their latest arrangements of Diamonds are forever and thunderball, finishing with a dazzling gypsy Russian finale!
...and if you are really lucky there might even be an Abba singalong in there somewhere!
