Historical features include Tudor beams, Victorian bay windows and Georgian columns, to name just a few. These unique features and the surrounding greenery of Waterlow Park provide a variety of backdrops for all kinds of filming and photography projects.
Alongside our historic gallery spaces we also have a modern flexible and airy Conservatory with lots of natural light. It has a bank of glass walls which include large sliding doors opening out onto the Tea Lawn which is perfect for interviews.
Although the House is a Grade II* listed building, unlike other heritage houses and museums, it does not house a permanent collection that needs to be worked around. The spaces are adaptable and restrictions are minimal.
From interviews for the Andrew Marr Show to fashion shoots for Studio Boum, Lauderdale House has hosted a range of different productions over the years. Filming in Waterlow Park or in nearby Highgate Village and need a base to work from? We have provided facilities for a number of projects including feature film A Long Way Down (2014).
