Perspective

The fresh photography project ran from early November through until mid December 2023. It was designed as a series of weekly drop-in sessions to accommodate the variable group size and attendees. During these weekly workshops we aimed to look at various techniques and approaches including portraiture, light painting, long exposures, and cyanotypes. 

All of these were things that we could easily explore inside the House, without being rained on or blown into the darkness - although we did a bit of that too. We were all encouraged the by the high standard of work that we were producing right from the start. Despite the drop-in nature of the sessions, the group grew in confidence, both with the equipment and the concepts, and those attending learned to use their own ideas to create exciting photographs, both from behind and in front of the camera. 

The images displayed are a selection of the work created by the Fresh photography students, and give a taste of the different styles and techniques we used.
