Siegrid Dawes is a London-based Watercolour Artist, born 1965 in Austria. Her exhibition ‘Adventures in Watercolour’ invites the viewer to take a break in daily life. The vibrant paintings appeal to the viewers' imagination, enabling them to step right into the scene to experience the atmosphere.
The original paintings are on heavy cotton sheets, double mounted and nicely framed. This enhances the atmosphere of the artwork. Worthy of mention is the use of high-quality Schmincke watercolour known for fade resistance.
Viewers are invited to escape in an adventure with an air of romance watercolour paintings are famous for.
Adventures in Watercolour will be on display in the Upper Gallery during gallery opening times from Wednesday 6 December 2023 to Thursday 21 December 2023.
The gallery is generally open:

- Wednesday : 11am to 3pm
- Thursday - Sunday : 12pm to 4pm
