'You’ve Got A Friend’ is a celebration of the music of two iconic songwriters and performers, Carole King and James Taylor.

Join Rebecca Turner, Michael Goulding, Tony Hammond and Howard Tibble as they perform works from Carole King and James Taylor. You’ll be taken on a journey of their music and greatest hits, complemented by backstage stories and anecdotes.

'You've Got A Friend' has been performed in prominent clubs and theatres in London over the past year to excellent reviews, including praise for its authentic renditions.

This will be a thoroughly uplifting and enjoyable show.

Performers

Rebecca Turner is a pianist and singer. She is a recording artist who has had some success in the music industry with her own song compositions. She has written and recorded with a number of prominent artists in the music industry. Rebecca is a huge admirer of Carole King.

Michael Goulding is a multi-instrumentalist and singer. He is a session musician and also currently plays George Harrison in the Trembling Wilburys band. He has a great love of James Taylor’s music.

Tony Hammond is a superb bass player and singer, and is also pretty great on piano. He is a seasoned professional, having worked as a session musician over many years in the business. His knowledge and expertise has been invaluable in creating our show.

Howard Tibble played drums for the Shakin’ Stevens band for thirty years. He was also in the Hank Wangford band. One of his claims to fame is that he drummed on Monty Python’s ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ single. He has also recorded with Cliff Richard.
