Present: an exhibition with Charles Ellis

Charles Ellis is a North London based artist and founding member of the Dashwood art society. He is staging his latest exhibition of atmospheric abstract paintings in the Upper Gallery at Lauderdale House entitled 'PRESENT'.

Charles sees his paintings as 'interpretations of nature using clouds, rain, sky, waves and waterfalls etc as a starting point. Every painting is like a journey that starts as an imagined idea and eventually reaches a conclusion when the completed image presents itself.'

Charles is a founding member of the Dashwood art society, an artists collective based in Crouch End. Formed in the early 90's, it is still going strong today. The group will be exhibiting in February 2022 in the Lower Gallery at Lauderdale House.
