To submit your work for consideration, please complete the application form below and send it to iwilson@lauderdale.org.uk, with your name and ‘Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Exhibition’ as the subject.
As part of the proposal, you will be asked to submit:
- An artist statement which details your plans for the exhibition. E.g., how you plan on interacting with, and displaying, the theme of Mid-Autumn Moon Festival? (c. 250 words)
- 10 examples of your previous work
- Please note: These example images do not need to be specific to the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival theme and can just be general examples of work.
- However, if you are able to create any work connected to the theme, this will help give a clearer idea of your artist statement.
The application form will also ask for the following details:
- Your contact details – name, phone, email, address
- Link to your website or previous exhibitions (if applicable)
- Media used and dimensions of pieces
- Approximate number of pieces proposed
- How the work should be displayed and how/if it is framed. (Please note we cannot accept freestanding work.)
- If work is particularly heavy, please give us some idea of weight
- Whether you have exhibited at Lauderdale House previously
