Highgate Wood is much more than Trees, Bugs and Bunnies. Join Michael Hammerson, local historian and Vice-President of the Highgate Society, in a walk through time to see surviving remains of the Wood's history, archaeology and ancient woodland management - things you may have walked past a hundred times before without even noticing them!
The walk will also be illustrated with old illustrations and maps of the Wood. Nick Peacey, Chair of Friends of Highgate Roman Kiln, will accompany us to talk about the Roman pottery factory and the project to put one of the kilns on permanent display in the Wood.
