Explore the teachings of Rumi in this full day workshop

Rumi stands at the very zenith of a long tradition of Islamic spirituality. He is both the sweetest fruit and the epitome of what has been called “the path of love” that is squarely grounded in Islam, and also reaching beyond to offer spiritual sustenance and wisdom to people from many backgrounds.

This workshop will combine the spiritual and experiential, and aims to combine the grounding of Rumi in the wider Islamic tradition as well as taking you through the main themes in his oceanic writings. The workshop is in English, and is open to friends of all backgrounds. It will feature Omid Safi, who is a renowned teacher of the Sufi tradition with over 35 years of experience studying Mawlana Rumi. The workshop will also feature Pearls of Islam, who will lead the attendees in music and dhikr throughout the Rumi Workshop.
