Don't miss the Calliope Trio performing in this one-off charity concert

All at start of their careers – Lily Payne (clarinet), Niamh Adams (violin) and Magdalene Ho (piano) - they are alumni of the Purcell School for Young Musicians and scholarship holders at their respective conservatoires – Guildhall and the RCM. Despite their busy concert schedules both at home and abroad, their shared love of chamber music (and great friendship) has brought them together to explore the repertoire for clarinet, violin and piano.

In this concert the audience can enjoy contrasting trio works by Paul Schoenfeld and Dimitri Shostakovich interspersed with duo and solo works by other composers.

The concert is in aid of the Chandran Foundation, a charity that works across London helping less privileged young people to make the most of their education. Donations for the concert will be taken on the day, donations made online will go to the House.

Programme

5 pieces for two violins and piano – Shostakovich (arr. N. Adams)

Trio for clarinet, violin and piano – Paul Schoenfeld
