Camden Youth Jazz performers and Lauderdale House Tea Lawn
Overview

Camden Music Service and Lauderdale House are delighted to present performances by young people as part of Highgate Festival 2023.

Come along on Sunday 18 June from 2.30pm to enjoy an afternoon of free performances on the Lauderdale House Tea Lawn! Back by popular demand are the immensely talented Jazz in Camden students. Headed by jazz pianist, conductor and composer Nikki Yeoh and accompanied by saxophonist, composer and workshop leader Binker Golding, you’ll hear Camden Music Service’s Intermediate and Senior jazz groups. Also included in the programme are young jazz musicians from two of Camden’s state secondary schools. In the spirit of summer, bring blankets or chairs to sit on the lawn, and feel free to pack your own nibbles or stop by the café for refreshments as we enjoy the music of some of Camden's finest young musicians.

Saturday morning Jazz in Camden has been running for 25 years and welcomes young musicians who wish to explore their creativity through performance and improvisation.
