Volunteers

Lauderdale House is a historic house which operates as an Arts and Education centre with a varied artistic programme of exhibitions, classical music, poetry, children’s shows, jazz, and classes. We are at a very exciting point in our history. Following generous support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and John Lyon’s Charity and many other funders, we have been able to carry out major works which will ensure our long term sustainability, introduce new facilities, reinforce our heritage and build new income sources.

We are now looking for Volunteers to work with us from February 2017 in the newly reopened refurbished House with an exciting and busy Education, Heritage and Arts programme. Our existing volunteers include people of all ages looking to acquire new skills and experience as well as those who simply enjoy the opportunity to give something back to the community in a friendly and creative atmosphere. There many opportunities to contribute to Lauderdale House and we like to work with people to agree programmes of work for each individual to ensure that everyone finds what they are looking for. Roles includes stewarding in the gallery and on reception both weekdays and weekends, answering enquiries, supporting our marketing and publicity, helping with fundraising, supporting our education programme and /or general administration.

If you're interested in becoming a volunteer you can find out more from the document below or by calling 020 8348 8716 or emailing kives@lauderdale.org.uk.
